2013 S.D.Y. Student of the Year
Every year SDY awards a student of the year based on a pre-determined point system. Points are earned by attending class, demos, seminars, tournaments, answering quiz questions, high test scores, and other miscellaneous opportunities. This year several students were within only a few points of being the student of the year, but there can only be one.
Congratulations to Keith on being SDY's student of the year for 2013! Keith started at SDY in the spring of 2013 in the adult class and has since achieved the rank of yellow belt. He regularly attends class, competed in tournaments, and was involved in fun outings such as the family picnic and Halloween party. Keith's name has been added to the "student of the year" plaque and he received $100 for his achievement.
Points have been reset for SDY's student of the year 2014. Each and every student has the ability to be student of the year, read the bi-weekly newsletters to stay informed on opportunities to earn points. Be sure to attend class, answer quiz questions, and get involved in outside activities to be SDY's 2014 student of the year!
